Cafe Manager
Barnes & Noble is seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized Caf? Manager to lead and develop our caf? and food service operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a renowned and well-respected retailer and to help create a delightful, customer-focused caf? experience. Our ideal candidate will have the enthusiasm and dedication to make our caf? a destination of choice for our customers.The Caf? Manager must have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, with a strong and diverse knowledge of food service operations, customer service, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly adapt to changing needs, be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, and have a proven track record of bringing creative ideas to the table. A successful Caf? Manager should have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, have a passion for excellence, and be able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. ? Overseeing day-to-day operations of the caf?, including food preparation, customer service, and staff management
? Developing and implementing caf? policies and procedures
? Identifying and responding to customer feedback regarding caf? services and products
? Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
? Training and managing caf? staff to ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence
? Monitoring caf? operations to identify areas of improvement and to implement changes as needed
? Developing creative ideas to enhance the customer experience in the caf?
? Maintaining accurate records of caf? operations, customer feedback, and staff performance
? Managing the budget and controlling costs to ensure profitability
