Description
OVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Sr Director of Engineering who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. You will lead a direct and indirect team of talented engineers and technical leaders to deliver our core capability of Technical Expertise to our customers. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge engineering solutions. Your strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership will be critical in achieving our company's growth objectives and maintaining our position as an industry leader.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute the engineering strategy to support our customers goals of DFM, DFX, product innovation, process optimization, technical governance and cost efficiencyBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performance engineering team across the enterprise with a broad team of direct and indirect employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementOversee the design methodologies, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure they meet the quality standards and cost objectives of our customer Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in manufacturing and engineering to enhance competitiveness and stay ahead of industry developmentsCollaborate with other departments, including operations, supply chain, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into the overall business strategyManage the engineering department's budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve project and departmental goalsEnsure engineering processes across the enterprise comply with relevant industry standardsEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering projects and processesDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and technologies that support engineering initiativesPromote a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team, fostering innovation and implementing best practicesOwn the recruitment, training, and career development for engineering talent across the enterprise.
Requirements
