Job Overview We are seeking a QA/Developer Hybrid Engineer (Tech Level IV) who will operate as the testing SME while also contributing to application and service development. This role requires strong hands-on experience in both Testing and Development. Candidates must be equally comfortable designing and executing automated tests as well as writing code, building services, and working with event-driven architecture. Prefered someone local to New York or New Jersey and willing to go onsite after a few months. Key Responsibilities • Create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases • Design and execute performance tests for mobile and web applications using JMeter • Build automated regression suites using Selenium, JMeter, and Visual Studio unit tests • Perform iOS Xamarin testing and automation (required) • Conduct JSON-based API testing using C# • Contribute to building applications, services, automation frameworks, and reusable components • Troubleshoot and debug automated testing failures and system-level issues • Work within a small Agile team delivering features across multiple devices • Support design of event-driven and resilient application architecture • Participate in CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps Required Skills (Must-Have) • iOS Xamarin testing and automation • JSON-based API testing using C# • JMeter for performance and load testing • Selenium and Visual Studio test automation • Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps Test Plans • CI/CD pipeline experience • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills • SQL Server and strong T-SQL knowledge • Hands-on development experience in C#, automation code, and service development Nice to Have Skills • Kafka consumers and producers • Azure cloud experience • Virtualization and containerization • Experience building CI/CD pipelines • Understanding of event-driven architectures Candidate Requirements • Must be local to New York or New Jersey • Must be willing to go onsite after a few months • Must work Eastern Time hours • Must be open to future travel • Strong communication and collaboration skills Apply tot his job
