To strengthen our team in the Eastern European region, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist (m/f/d) responsible for Czechia and Slovakia, dedicated to protecting people with our range of disposable protective garments. In this role, you will serve as the key interface between DuPont, distribution partners, and end users. Success requires a strong combination of sales expertise, technical understanding, and negotiation skills, particularly in dealings with purchasing departments and occupational health & safety teams. Main Responsibilities Actively identify, develop, and secure new sales opportunities across various industries. Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors, end users, and key accounts. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable product solutions. Demonstrate solid knowledge of chemical protective garments, including features, benefits, and compliance standards. Conduct or support product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and end users. Work closely with distributor sales teams on key account and end user management. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM tools. Implement the pricing strategy to meet established business targets. Develop action plans to drive growth of new products and applications across industries. Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product management teams. Represent DuPont at events, trade fairs, and conferences and identify emerging market trends and opportunities. Required Profile Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business or marketing field. Fluent in English, Czech and Slovak languages. Solid commercial experience, ideally in the personal protective equipment (PPE) industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of an international team. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in B2B sales, ideally in industrial or PPE-related sectors. Strong negotiation, influencing, and active-listening abilities. High level of self-organization, reliability, and initiative. Comfortable engaging with people at all organizational levels. Ability to collaborate effectively with the Tyvek® Protective Clothing Team.
