Out of hours Business Travel Consultant Required for corporate travel business based from Home to work weekends. Seeking an experienced business travel, corporate travel or tailormade consultant who has excellent flights, fares and GDS knowledge to cover the companies Out of Hours function at the weekends. They will pay up to Ā£30,000 + benefits pro rata for the right person.
Business travel consultants' duties:
Ā Manage any out of hours emergency calls for flight bookings, changes and reissues for clients, covering worldwide locations.
Ā Book complex multisector flight itineraries as well as point to point, working with a variety of fares for clients overseas in different time zones.
Ā Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements
Business travel consultant skills required:
Ā Experience in business travel, corporate travel or flights broker, handling clients travel , changes and cancellations
Ā... At least 3 years + experience in travel on Galileo
Ā Strong customer service skills, ability to handle time dependant changes and reissues
Ā Ability to do your own mark-ups would be an advantage.
Other Info:
Ā Hours are to cover:
Friday 17.00 - 00.00,
Sat 09.00- 17.00 or 10.00-17.00 if preferred
and Sun 12.00-20.00 unless covering an event in China where there will be a slightly earlier start time but will know in advance
Ā Work from home
Ā Performance related pay on commission
Ā Starting with 22 days holiday (prorate) with an additional day for each year worked up to an extra 5 days
Ā Work is mostly covering flights, so expertise on these is needed to apply
