Business Sales Account Executive
About the position The Business Sales Account Executive role at Verizon involves supporting a wireless sales territory in the Paducah, Hopkinsville, and Bowling Green, KY area. This hybrid position requires travel for in-person meetings and customer site visits. The role focuses on delivering innovative business solutions, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth through prospecting and account management. Responsibilities β’ Support a wireless sales territory with travel in and around the Paducah, Hopkinsville & Bowling Green, KY area. β’ Develop and qualify leads to drive additional sales opportunities through various techniques including cold-calling and social selling. β’ Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. β’ Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base. β’ Educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions. β’ Build relationships with key decision makers. β’ Present and create multi-product solution opportunities. β’ Understand and sell integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms. β’ Track and report progress through sales force automation tools. Requirements β’ Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. β’ Four or more years of relevant work experience. β’ Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation. β’ Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic area. β’ Valid driver's license. Nice-to-haves β’ A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or related certifications/college courses. β’ Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. β’ Technology sales and educational experience, such as SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools. β’ Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments. β’ Experience building and maintaining strong business relationships with all levels of client organizations. β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment. β’ Strong success in managing time and prioritizing tasks to accomplish goals. β’ Ability to implement feedback and tailor approach for success.
