Both are equally important.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Business Operations & Finance Associate to support our growing operations and financial planning efforts. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with both the CEO and Chief of Staff, as well as cross-functional teams, on high-impact, high-visibility work across finance, strategy, and business operations.This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and take on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced startup environment.What You’ll DoSupport monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and performance trackingPartner with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Finance Lead to maintain the company’s P&L and assist with materials for board meetings and investor updatesTrack revenue earned vs. revenue collected and help manage invoicing processesConduct research and assist in preparing materials for fundraising and strategic initiativesHelp build and refine financial models that inform strategic decisions and business planningTake ownership of ad-hoc projects across finance, business operations, and GTM supportPartner with external accountants and legal advisors on tax and compliance mattersContribute to the development of scalable processes that support Knot’s growthWhat We’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, Big 4 accounting, finance, business operations, or an analytically focused startup roleSolid understanding of core financial concepts (P&L, budgeting, revenue recognition, etc.)Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills; modeling experience is a plusHighly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and follow-throughClear communicator who can break down complex information and collaborate across teamsA self-starter with a low-ego, high-ownership mindset and eagerness to wear many hatsWhat We OfferInteresting and impactful work with a small, ambitious teamCompetitive base salary + early-stage equity100% covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents (U.S.)Unlimited PTO and parental leaveBeautiful NYC office in Flatiron with a flexible in-office culture
