JOB OVERVIEW:This position is responsible for the stability, performance, and ongoing evolution of the Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics global platform across the Henry Schein Products Group (HSPG). Reporting to the Senior Director, this role owns the day-to-day operations of the existing BI environment while developing and executing plans to scale, enhance, and modernize analytics capabilities in support of business growth.This position combines operational oversight with strategic contribution. The Manager is directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing BI solutions, while partnering closely with IT and external consultants to support infrastructure, integrations, and specialized initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, hands-on BI experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable analytics solutions.The role combines operational accountability with business partnership—ensuring the platform operates reliably and meets current reporting needs, while collaborating with functional leaders to expand analytics capabilities in line with evolving commercial and operational priorities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: BI Platform Operations & Technical ExecutionOwn the day-to-day performance, reliability, and integrity of the BI and analytics platform.Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting across the organization.Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize business disruption.Maintain strong data quality standards while coordinating platform enhancements across integrated systems.Manage platform updates, enhancements, and user support processes.Analytics Delivery & Business PartnershipPartner with commercial, finance, and operational teams to understand reporting needs and evolving business priorities.Translate business requirements into practical, scalable analytics solutions.Deliver actionable insights that support revenue growth, margin improvement, pricing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely data.Platform Enhancement & ModernizationIdentify and prioritize opportunities to expand dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models.Integrate new data sources and enhance data accessibility across functional teams.Contribute to and execute against a forward-looking roadmap that balances operational stability with modernization and scalability.Partner with external consultants on larger enhancement or transformation initiatives.Data Governance & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and reinforce standards for data governance, documentation, and reporting consistency.Strengthen data validation and quality control processes.Promote data literacy and encourage effective adoption of analytics tools across the organization.Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of analytics initiatives against defined business objectives.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Experience contributing to BI modernization or platform expansion initiativesExperience working with external consultants or third-party implementation partnersWorking knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practicesExperience in distribution, healthcare, or multi-entity business environmentsDemonstrated hands-on experience developing and maintaining enterprise BI platforms and reporting environmentsExperience supporting production BI systems in complex, multi-system environmentsStrong experience integrating and reporting from ERP and CRM systemsProven ability to manage platform operations while delivering enhancements and new capabilitiesExperience partnering with IT teams on infrastructure, security, and integration initiativesStrong stakeholder engagement experience across functionsStrong hands-on technical capability with the ability to independently design, develop, and maintain BI solutionsOperationally disciplined with a focus on system stability, performance, and data accuracyBusiness-oriented thinker who connects analytics outputs to measurable financial and operational outcomesStrong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to balance daily operational support and longer-term enhancement initiativesCollaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to work effectively across IT, business teams, and external consultantsSelf-directed and accountable, with the ability to operate effectively in a high-ownership, individual contributor roleContinuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to identifying system and process enhancementsGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Excellent understanding of industry practicesStrong proficiency with tools, systems, and proceduresExcellent planning/organizational skills and techniquesExcellent independent decision making, analysis and problem solving skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsExcellent presentation and public speaking skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messagesAbility to build partnerships at all levels within the companyGood negotiating skillsResolve complex issues in effective waysProject management, consultative skills and ability to manage a budgetSpecialist in multiple technical and/or business skillsAbility to cultivate and develop lasting internal and external customer relationsWORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.The posted range for this position is $110,692-$152,202 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
