Business Development Representative - Boston MA - Commercial

The Commercial Sector BDR will play a critical role in expanding Blue Mantis’ presence within government, education, and other commercial sector organizations. You will engage prospective clients, articulate our value proposition, and help commercial sector entities modernize their IT infrastructure while meeting compliance and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new commercial sector clients (state, local, education, and government agencies) through research, outbound outreach, and networking.Qualify leads and initiate meaningful conversations focused on clients’ IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance challenges.Schedule meetings and support sales executives in the sales process.Maintain accurate records of outreach and client interactions in CRM systems.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns for commercial sector prospects.Stay current on commercial sector technology trends, procurement methods, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI.Articulate the Blue Mantis value proposition—security-first, cost optimization, compliance, and innovation—to commercial sector decision-makers.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outreach, meetings booked, and pipeline generation.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
