About the roleWe are looking for a Business Developer to build a strong seller lead pipeline across our superclusters in the DACH region. You will convince sellers to offer quality objects via our platform, and provide prospects with a great onboarding experience. You are responsible for generating sustainable revenue opportunities by turning new sellers into committed and fast-growing sellers ready to move to Account Management teams.What you’ll doIdentify, qualify and develop leads through call, email, field visits, fair visits and expert collaborationIdentify and reactivate high potential dormant sellers and organic sign-ups Qualify inbound leads by working with data and sales toolingFacilitate a frictionless pre and post-sales experience for new sellersBuild and nurture strong relationships with new sellers to expand your networkIn cooperation with experts, quickly learn the important characteristics of categoriesSelect and grow high-potential new sellersMove in sync with Account Managers to develop growth plan for onboarded sellersWhat you’ll bringSales mindset, proven experience achieving sales targetsSuccessful and active networker with the ability to establish and nurture relationships with sellers, manufacturers and distributorsStrong negotiation skills Problem solving attitude with a data driven approachA passion for the online industry or maybe you have a collection yourself and able to understand the language of our sellersOpen to travel on a regular base within DACH region to meet your leads and sellers Familiar with G Suite tools (Google sheet, slides)Experience using a sales CRM (Hubspot or any equivalent) is a plusFluent in English and German, any other languages an additional bonus!Why You'll Love Working with UsCreate a Visible Impact by working at scale in a global organisation that serves millions of customers across 80+ categories.
