Business Consultant – Finance
Job Description:
• Gather and analyze financial data, operational metrics, and business requirements.
• Support or lead ERP finance implementations and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare financial models, cost analyses, and forecasting reports.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances.
• Ensure ERP financial data integrity through validation and internal review processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting optimization.
• Deliver client presentations, documentation, and training sessions.
• Advise leadership teams on financial process improvements and performance drivers (as experience allows).
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development when appropriate.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–15+ years of finance, ERP, or consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in core finance functions, including:- Cost Accounting & Product Costing- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable- Budgeting & Forecasting- Fixed Assets- General Ledger & Financial Reporting- Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
• Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or product-based environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with executive-level stakeholders preferred.
