About the position

The Business Central ERP Data Analyst position is a critical role within a billion-dollar manufacturing and services company that is currently undergoing a Microsoft Business Central ERP implementation. This remote position is designed for a data-driven IT professional who thrives in a dynamic project environment and is eager for long-term career growth. The successful candidate will work closely with an ERP Project Manager and business stakeholders to map current data processes and lead the migration of data from legacy systems to the new ERP system. This multi-year project offers the potential for career advancement into a team lead role as the company continues to expand and acquire new business units that require migration to the primary ERP system. In this role, the Data Analyst will oversee data migration efforts, ensuring that data is accurately transferred and consolidated. The position requires a strong focus on data quality assurance, where the analyst will develop and implement checks to maintain high standards throughout the migration process. The role also involves significant collaboration and communication with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution. The analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for any data-related inquiries during the migration process, making effective communication skills essential. Technical expertise is a key component of this role, as the analyst will utilize Azure Data Lake for data storage and management, write and optimize Python scripts for data processing, and leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Responsibilities
• Manage and execute the migration of data from legacy systems to Salesforce and Microsoft Business Central.

• Work closely with business users to understand data requirements and map data accordingly for successful migration.

• Assist in the consolidation and deduplication of data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the migration process.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of the migrated data.
,
• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of data migration projects.
,
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries during the migration process.
,
• Utilize Azure Data Lake for data storage and management during the migration process.
,
• Write and optimize Python scripts to automate data processing tasks as needed.
,
• Leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting to track migration progress and outcomes.

Requirements
• Experience in Business Central/Microsoft Dynamics data migration projects
,
• Strong business process acumen with the ability to interact effectively with accounting and operations personnel
,
• Expertise with Power BI reporting
,
• Understanding of Azure data lake
,
• Experience with Python scripting a plus
,
• Excellent communication skills
,
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Must be willing to work EST or CST hours
