Business Analyst / Product Owner – Insurance Projects (Remote or Hybrid NYC) We’re seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Product Owner to lead the implementation of functional and technical solutions across insurance-related projects. This role bridges business and IT, driving delivery through collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: • Gather and document business requirements • Lead project delivery and UAT efforts • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans • Support defect resolution and vendor coordination • Update insurance forms and documentation Requirements: • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience • Proven Agile leadership and autonomy • Strong communication skills with business leadership • Experience with insurance pricing, rating tools, and policy forms • Familiarity with policy administration systems and integration projects • Skilled in Microsoft Office and JIRA • Experience with external vendors and web development platforms • Bonus: Exposure to insurance data analytics, AI, or actuarial tools Locations: remote candidates across the U.S. will be considered. MUST HAVE: • Worked as a BA or PO on actuarial, insurance pricing, or rating tools projects. • Strong communicator with insurance industry leadership. • Understand how insurance policies, forms, or letters are produced.
