That's WEIS! Location Address: 1000 Weis Remote Road Job Description: The Building Maintenance Associate is responsible for picking and receiving inventory into warehouse. May be required to drive single axle truck to make deliveries to stores and corporate locations. Will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of company warehouse and equipment. Provides assistance to Building Maintenance Technicians when needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Maintain and safely operate company owned equipment used in the department, i.e. material handling equipment, tools, systems, vehicles, etc. Work with other departments and stakeholders regarding surplus assets needs in the construction of new stores, remodels and expansions. Fulfill work order requests for the pickup and delivery of surplus equipment. Perform assigned work to completion, or as instructed. Conduct himself/herself according to company policies, standards, and criteria. Assist Building Maintenance Technicians when needed. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED plus and first-hand knowledge of the construction trades. In addition, requires computer skills, Microsoft Outlook and Service Now Call Tracking system with basic operations of iPhone and iPad knowledge. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
