For more information on the Department of Justice and the United States Attorneys' Offices, visit As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement.Qualifications:GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level.Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as experience developing, implementing and/or maintaining a comprehensive financial management system; providing financial and managerial data to control budget execution in achieving short and long-range management plans; advising management team on recommendations and/or alternative approaches to improve program plans, budget proposals, costs of operations and program accomplishments; reviewing and analyzing past obligations, determining reasonable fund levels and evaluating validity of request; and providing a wide variety of budget reporting, including monthly financial and quarterly reports.Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)-The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
