Job Overview

Our Business Development team will set appointments for you while our skilled service team collaborates with you to build benefits solutions tailored to your clients’ needs. Our benefits advisory team manages daily client inquiries, freeing you to build lasting relationships. Most importantly, each of our Brokers owns their own books—at our company, we help you grow your business.
Responsibilities
• Develop benefits program strategies for clients
• Understand defined client financial restrictions and provide insight to service team created reports
• Oversee the preparation, peer review, distribution, and analysis of regular reporting such as Loss Ratio, High-Cost Claimants, and IBNR. Provide insightful analysis for clients upon review
• Provide thorough understanding of underwriting services for self-funded plans
• Provide prompt and thorough client support through their decision-making process
• Support the service team regarding the implementation of new programs or lines, as applicable
• Speak knowledgeably to all carrier or vendor contracts and carrier materials
• Maintain a working understanding of general Human Resources practices and regulations
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Employee Benefits Management experience
• 2+ years of experience with Compliance Knowledge (ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
• 2+ years of experience with underwriting Methodology
• Client Relationship Management
• Team Leadership
• Minimum $500K book of business
• Humble attitude, team-oriented mindset
• Thorough understanding of self-funded, level-funded, and fully-insured plans
• Experienced with selling employee healthcare benefits to large groups
• Life and Health License
Nice to Have
• 2-4 years of experience with Data Analysis and Reporting
• Strategic Planning
