Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper / Entry-Level Accountant – Public Accounting (Remote/Flexible)

Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and self-motivated Bookkeeper / Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll handle bookkeeping and financial reporting for multiple clients. You must be able to manage client accounts independently and communicate effectively. This is a remote role with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
-Manage accounts from start to finish: data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation
-Identify and correct discrepancies in records and perform cleanup work when needed
-Review financial data with clients and respond to inquiries
-Work within firm deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
-Communicate professionally with clients via email, phone, or video calls
Required Qualifications
-3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
-1+ year of experience managing clients independently (from bookkeeping to report review)
-1+ year of experience performing account cleanup
-Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft -Excel and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
-Reliable and organized with the ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
-Prior experience working in public accounting or with multiple clients
-Comfortable using tools like Slack, Zoom, and task management platforms
-U.S.-based for time zone and communication convenience
