Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper (Part-Time) to manage the restaurant’s financial records. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, financial entries, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in the restaurant industry and demonstrates strong skills in QuickBooks and financial automation.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
Perform bookkeeping duties for the related entities
Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments
Track purchases, bills, and vendor credits
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts on a monthly basis
Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports
Assist with the organization of financial documents for audits or internal reviews
Implement and maintain financial automation tools to improve efficiency
Perform other finance-related administrative tasks as assigned
Work Hours & Benefits
Hours: 10 hours per week
Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour

Skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong understanding of financial principles, reconciliations, and reporting
Ability to automate recurring processes and improve workflow efficiency
Reliable, organized, and trustworthy with a strong attention to detail
Education/Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Experience in the restaurant industry is highly preferred
