JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper (with Financial Controller Responsibilities)
RATE: PHP 330 per hour (slightly negotiable)
Work Type:
Part-time, Remote/WFH
Possible transition to a full-time role as work demands increase (applicant must be open to the possibility of transitioning).
Working Hours: TBD (usually US hrs | Night shift)
Start Date: ASAP
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reconciliation Tasks
Payroll Accuracy:
Review and match payroll transactions for all employees with payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
Financial Cleanup:
Address and correct issues within the customer deposits register.
Review and correct journal entries placed in incorrect accounts.
Service Titan Integration:
Ensure Service Titan exports are accurate, properly categorized, and aligned with QuickBooks data.
Learn and complete training on Service Titans accounting academy (initial training period to get them up to speed) before starting cleanup tasks.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare financial reports, projections, and analyses as required.
General Bookkeeping Tasks:
Accurately record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Conduct monthly reviews of the Profit and Loss Statement to ensure accuracy.
Perform quarterly reviews of the Balance Sheet to address inconsistencies or errors.
Compose and manage professional email communication with staff and clients.
Provide minor administrative support as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial control, preferably with US-based clients.
Certification in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
Familiarity with Service Titan or willingness to undergo training in its accounting academy.
Proficient in using Google Drive for document management and collaboration.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skill
Open to the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role
