Key Responsibilities
Ā Record and process daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ā Maintain and update the general ledger, day books, supplier's ledger, and customer ledger.
Ā Prepare financial reports and bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Ā Handle accounts receivable and payable, and manage payroll efficiently.
Ā Prepare and file financial documents, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Ā Reconcile company accounts to verify accuracy and completeness.
Ā Assist with tax payments and returns, and support tax document preparation.
Ā Monitor cash flow and generate financial reports to aid in informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Ā Proven experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Ā Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or FreshBooks.
Ā Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills.
Ā Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ā Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Ā A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred, but not required.
