Position Summary
This role, Accounting Manager / Client Controller, is responsible for key contributions to Mighty Financial's mission and service delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ā¢ [Essential] AR/AP management
ā¢ [Essential] Customer billing and collections
ā¢ [Essential] Vendor bill processing and payment scheduling
ā¢ [Essential] Balance Sheet account reconciliations
ā¢ [Essential] Month-end close
ā¢ [Essential] Budget v Actual reporting
ā¢ [Essential] Variance analysis
ā¢ [Essential] Cash forecasting
ā¢ [Essential] Ad-hoc support
ā¢ Execute key responsibilities aligned with team and company priorities.
ā¢ Collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiency and service excellence.
ā¢ Maintain accurate records and support strategic initiatives.
Success Metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
ā¢ Achieve performance targets relevant to the role.
ā¢ Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
ā¢ Contribute to team collaboration and customer satisfaction metrics.
ā¢ KPIs are defined during onboarding and reviewed quarterly.*
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
ā¢ Efficiently use QuickBooks Online
ā¢ Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders (both written and verbal)
ā¢ Successfully contribute to a growing organization in a remote work environment
ā¢ Confidently present and discuss financial performance
ā¢ Tactfully challenge clients and managers when appropriate from time to time
ā¢ Relevant experience or credentials for the role. (ie: QBO Certification; Accounting Degree, etc.)
ā¢ Proven skills aligned with the job function.
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Reviews
Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance. Part-time or full-time.
ā¢ Hourly: $25-$40
ā¢ Salary: $50,000 - $80,000
Benefits are extended to full-time team members and include 401k with 4% match as well as unlimited PTO. We do not currently offer any medical benefits but hope to do so as the company grows.
Continuous feedback provided via weekly 1:1 meetings with your manager. Formal performance reviews conducted annually.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
ā¢ This position operates primarily in a remote office environment with extended computer use.
ā¢ Occasional travel for client meetings, team offsites, or professional development may be required.
