In order to meet increasing demand in New York for workers' compensation cases involving 9/11 first responders and related occupational claims, we are currently expanding our panel and seeking board-certified physicians in Oncology who are interested in remote, flexible, part-time work as an independent contractor. You’ll play a vital role in shaping fair and evidence-based healthcare determinations.
What You Will Do
· Conduct independent, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews.
· Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines.
· Provide objective, high-quality reports within turnaround timelines.
· Maintain compliance with URAC, HIPAA, and internal quality standards.
Required Qualifications
· Active board certification in Oncology.
· Current, unrestricted New York State medical license.
· Engaged in active clinical practice
· Strong written communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
· Comfortable working independently and using online review platforms.
· Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required.
