Blog writer, SEO specialist needed - Topic travel blogs

Description: I’m looking for a full-time SEO-focused blog writer to help grow a high-traffic travel website. This role is for someone who can consistently produce high-quality, search-optimized travel content that ranks. Schedule / Collaboration: 30–40 hours per week (ongoing) I’m in California (PST) Preferred working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST Some flexibility is possible 1–2 days per week, but collaboration during PST hours is important. What you’ll do: Write SEO-optimized travel blog posts (guides, itineraries, “things to do,” comparisons, planning content, etc.) Perform keyword research and propose topics based on ranking opportunities Create/optimize outlines, headings (H1/H2/H3), internal linking suggestions, and meta titles/descriptions Refresh and improve existing posts (content updates, on-page SEO, expansion, consolidation) Required skills: Proven experience writing SEO content that ranks (please share examples) Strong keyword research ability (search intent, topical clustering, SERP analysis) Ability to write clearly, naturally, and persuasively (not keyword-stuffed) Comfortable working in Google Docs / WordPress (or similar) Nice to have: Experience building content clusters and internal linking strategies Basic understanding of E-E-A-T and how it applies to travel content Comfortable writing short downloadable guides / mini eBooks (optional now, but planned later) To apply, please include: 2–3 SEO writing samples in travel (or your best comparable work) A brief description of your keyword research process Tools you use (Ahrefs/SEMrush/GSC/Surfer/Frase/etc.) Your weekly availability and confirmation you can overlap 10–6 PST most days Your rate (hourly or monthly retainer) Apply tot his job
