We're looking for a Blockchain Technical Maintenance & Support Specialist with an unwavering focus on cybersecurity and configuration management. This role emphasizes not only the configuration and support of both client and Rewired's systems but also the management and optimization of Rewired's internal tools and systems. Responsibilities • Cybersecurity Maintenance & Support: Act as the first line of defense in maintaining the security of both client and Rewired's blockchain systems. Ensure all systems are updated, patched, and are free from vulnerabilities. • Configuration Management: Oversee the robust configuration of client and Rewired's blockchain systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Use project management best practices to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. • System and Tool Management: Take the lead in managing and optimizing Rewired's own tools and systems for maximum efficiency and security. • Application Registry Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date register of applications, including details on updates, user access, and other relevant data. • Security Systems Management: Oversee the management of login credentials, access controls, and other security systems for both Rewired and its clients. • Proactive System Monitoring: Regularly review system logs, monitor network traffic, and other relevant metrics to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to blockchain maintenance and support. • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology and cybersecurity best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • Certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) would be advantageous. • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, its applications, and its inherent security challenges. • Proven experience with configuration management in a project management setting. • Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools, practices, and protocols. • Experience with: • Maintaining and supporting blockchain systems in a professional environment. • Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity protocols in a blockchain setting. • Configuration management tools and best practices. • System and tool management for medium to large-scale organizations. • Maintaining application registries and managing login credentials and access controls. • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve a common goal. Compensation We offer a competitive hourly rate for this part-time position, ranging from $30.00 to $55.00 per hour. Initially, we expect the role to require approximately 8 hours of work per week, which is 20% of a full-time position, with the potential for increased hours as the company grows and needs evolve.
