Bedding Product Quality Tester
Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Product Developer/Tester to assist in the final development stages of our new bedding line, which is set to launch in the US market. As a key member of our product testing team, you will receive prototype samples of our bedding products and play a critical role in ensuring their quality, fit, and... functionality.
Responsibilities:
Sample Testing: Receive and thoroughly test prototype bedding samples, including sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers.
Fit Evaluation: Assess the fit of the bedding on various mattress sizes, pillows, and comforters to ensure a snug and proper fit.
Installation Ease: Test the ease of installation, including fitting sheets onto mattresses, inserting pillows into cases, and placing comforters into duvet covers. Ensure that the bedding stays in place without slipping or coming off during use.
Durability Check: Evaluate the beddings performance over multiple uses to ensure it maintains its fit and quality after washing and regular wear.
Aesthetic evaluation: visual appeal, including design, colour harmony, fabric texture, and how well these elements align with the preferences and trends of the American market.
Feedback & Reporting: Provide detailed feedback on any issues encountered, along with suggestions for improvement. Complete a standardized report for each product tested.
Communication: Collaborate with our product development team to discuss findings and contribute to the final product design.
Requirements:
Experience in product development, product testing, or quality assurance, preferably in the textile or home goods industry.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest issues.
Access to a variety of mattress sizes (e.g., twin, queen, king) and standard pillows/comforters for testing purposes.
Excellent communication skills for providing clear and actionable feedback.
Based in the US, with the ability to receive and test products at your location.
