In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. The Opportunity As part of the External Audit team you are expected to direct efforts in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards. As a Director you are responsible for setting the strategic direction, leading business development efforts, and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are tasked with focusing on profitability and long-term sustainable growth for the firm and clients. Responsibilities - Direct efforts in U.S. GAAP, US GAAS, and PCAOB standards - Set strategic direction and lead business development - Oversee multiple projects maintaining impactful client relations - Focus on profitability and sustainable growth for the firm and clients - Mentor and develop the future leaders - Maintain adherence to professional and technical standards - Foster a culture of quality and integrity - Drive continuous improvement in audit processes What You Must Have - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - 8 years of experience - CPA license. International hires are required to hold the equivalent certification/credential in the selected individual's home country and will be required to meet US credential requirements after joining the firm. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $134,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
