Global Mobility Specialist

The Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for managing the US employment-based permanent residence processes, providing guidance to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and government requirements.ResponsibilitiesAdvise managers and stakeholders on eligibility, strategy, timing, responsibilities, costs, and company policy for employment-based permanent residence (PERM, I-140, adjustment of status)Manage the end-to-end green card case lifecycle for assigned population, including consultation, assessment, case tracking, documentation collection, filing coordination, and finalizationAct as primary day-to-day contact for the external immigration vendor and coordinate with outside counsel as needed; set expectations, monitor deliverables, and escalate issuesMaintain and update case tracking and ticketing systems timelyDevelop and maintain internal documentation, and standard operating procedures related to US permanent residence processesEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, working with legal counsel to address compliance or complex issuesSupport compliance activities including document signature and physical postingsSupport audits and data requests related to immigration records and maintain confidential records in accordance with privacy and retention policiesParticipate in cross-functional projects (Total Rewards, Global Mobility) to ensure immigration-related initiatives are solutionedSkills1-3+ years of direct experience managing US employment-based permanent residence processes in a corporate global mobility, HR, or immigration vendor/firm settingApplied knowledge of US visas, and working knowledge of DOL and USCIS rules and timelinesExperience coordinating with external immigration vendors and/or outside counsel; proven vendor-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical immigration concepts to non-experts and draft clear guidanceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with case management systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting toolsAbility to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion and professionalismBachelor's degree in HR, business, legal studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)Prior experience in a global tech company with multi-state US operationsExperience with HRIS and/or technology platforms (SharePoint, case management)Project management experience and process-improvement orientationBenefitsSAP North America BenefitsCompany OverviewSAP provides enterprise application software to various industries, including consumer, discrete manufacturing, public services.
