Job description: BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of an RN Preceptor for our Skilled Nursing office. This office provides best-in-class care to pediatric and adult clients.
As a RN Preceptor your day may look like this!
• On-board new and existing clinicians to build and manage their caseload of patients.
• Lead, inspire and motivate others to provide exceptional care.
• Acting as a preceptor to nurse residents.
• Responsible for clinical and client case management.
• Support and mentor newly hired staff.
• Assess and evaluate staff and client learning needs and competency according to client population the office serves and skilled care provided to ensure the provision of safe, high quality client care and services.
• Admission/visit coverage depending on division/office coverage needs.
• Work with the service office to enhance clinical capabilities by providing classroom, lab, and hands on education
Qualifications include:
• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum two years recent and verifiable pediatric experience as an RN, or two (2) years experience as a Pediatric Clinical Manager, preferably in home care
• Trach experience is required.
• Vent experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills.
• Passion for mentoring, educating, and onboarding clinicians.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and overnights.
• Willing to travel within South of Boston areas.
• Demonstrated successful track record of working independently while taking on increased or diverse responsibilities.
