Department Overview: Campus College Sitters is a Madison-based babysitting network that connects local families with trusted, trained, and background-checked college students for flexible, high-quality childcare. Founded by a UW student with a heart for community and care, we’re on a mission to make childcare safer, simpler, and more supportive—both for families and student sitters. We provide a connection between college student nannies with families needing childcare. We’re more than just a babysitting platform—we’re a growing community. Sitters get ongoing support, local activity guides, and job opportunities that work with their student lifestyle while enriching their resume. We do not take any share of your earnings! You will negotiate your rate directly with the family and get paid entirely!!! We just promote the screening and connection between the two of you. Anticipated Hours Per Week 2-10 Schedule: Your availability! Salary/Wage Range: Hourly $20.00 to $30.00 Number Of Positions 5 Position Summary/Job Duties: Are you a college student looking to make extra money doing something meaningful and fun? We’re looking for warm, reliable, and engaging students who love spending time with kids. Whether you’re a future teacher, pre-health major, or just someone who enjoys making a positive impact, this is the perfect side gig to build experience and earn great pay — all while working with families who respect your time and studies. What You’ll Do: • Provide in-home care for children of various ages (infants to school-aged kids) • Play, read, craft, and engage with children in fun, age-appropriate ways • Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times • Prepare simple meals or snacks (when needed) • Follow the family's routine and communicate clearly with parents • Optionally help with light tidying up related to the kids (toys, dishes, etc.) • Different families have different needs, so we encourage everyone to apply ! Some families want summer care only, others date nights only, others need school pick up, etc !
