Azure Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Security (Full-Time, Remote) Kick off your next career move with Launchpad! We’re looking for a hands-on Azure Engineer ready to make an impact in a fast-growing, global environment. If you’re passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and security in Microsoft Azure, this might be the opportunity for you. Start date : October/November 2025 Contract type : Contractor, Full-Time, Indefinite Work hours : Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 17.00 EST ️ What You’ll Be Doing Manage and optimize Azure resources (VMs, networking, storage) to ensure scalability, performance, and security. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, and/or Terraform to automate deployments. Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and enterprise apps to secure user access. Collaborate with Dev and Security teams to design, implement, and monitor cloud solutions aligned with compliance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve Azure service issues, improving reliability and business continuity. Optimize cost management and maintain clear documentation of policies, processes, and infrastructure. ✅ What You Need to Succeed Must-haves 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure Engineer (or similar role). Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, networking, and security tools. Proficiency with IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform). Experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender suite. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, APIs, KQL). Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken). Nice-to-haves Microsoft Azure or Cloud Security certifications. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub). Knowledge of Functions, Logic Apps, and automation with Microsoft Graph. Background in disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
