JDA TSG is seeking an Azure Core Engineer- Arc, Migration, & Networking with deep expertise in Azure Core Platform Services to guide enterprise customers through hybrid cloud adoption, migration, and operations on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on Azure Arc, Backup, Migrate, Networking, and alignment with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).

In this customer-facing position, you'll work with IT leaders, architects, and cloud teams to shape hybrid strategies, design resilient landing zones, and accelerate secure, well-governed migrations-while ensuring customers own and operate their environments with confidence.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000K based on experience

Location: Remote

Primary Work Includes:
• Advise customers on hybrid cloud strategy using Azure Arc, helping them extend Azure governance, policy, and monitoring across on-prem and multi-cloud resources.
• Guide customers through Azure migration planning using Azure Migrate, including assessments, target architecture recommendations, and phased migration roadmaps.
• Facilitate CAF and Well-Architected Framework-aligned design sessions to define landing zones, governance models, and operational guardrails.
• Provide guidance on Azure networking architectures (VNets, peering, VPN/ExpressRoute, vWAN, firewalls) to support secure, scalable connectivity for migrated and hybrid workloads.
• Help customers design backup and recovery strategies with Azure Backup and related services, aligning RPO/RTO objectives with business requirements.
• Lead technical workshops and whiteboard sessions focused on core infrastructure modernization, platform readiness, and risk mitigation.
• Support customers in developing migration runbooks, reference architectures, and operational playbooks, ensuring repeatable and governed execution.
• Collaborate with internal Microsoft teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to keep architectures aligned with business priorities and platform best practices.

Key Skills & Technologies
• Hybrid & Governance: Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Management Groups, CAF, Well-Architected Framework
• Migration: Azure Migrate (discovery, assessment, migration waves), migration planning and sequencing
• Networking: Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall / WAF, routing and segmentation
• Resiliency & Protection: Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR) concepts, DR strategies and patterns
• Operations & Management: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Update Management, Defender for Cloud (high level)
• Architecture & Strategy: Landing zone design, hybrid patterns, cost and risk considerations

The experience you'll need to excel in the role:
• 7+ years in cloud infrastructure or solutions architecture, with strong focus on Azure core platform services.
• Experience guiding enterprises through cloud adoption, hybrid enablement, or migration programs (not just individual app moves).
• Solid understanding of CAF/WAF and how to translate them into practical landing zones and governance models.
• Comfort leading customer workshops, strategy sessions, and C-level or architect-level discussions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical detail with business impact when advising customers.
