What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain the overall management and maintenance of the residence, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents
- Engage in relationship building, nonviolent crisis intervention, and conflict de-escalation as needed
- Accurately document observations and incidents during shifts
- Conduct safety, security, and wellness checks throughout the program
- Assist with daily office and administrative functions, including filing and phone coverage
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Must be CPR certified (may be obtained upon hire)
- Completed TB screening (may be obtained upon hire)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with families and youth experiencing housing instability and trauma
- Previous experience in nonviolent crisis intervention and milieu management
- Working knowledge of health-related social issues faced by individuals who use drugs
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with safe driving points
