Job Description Summary โ€Ž Mosaic Health is seeking an Associate Vice President of Enterprise Platforms & Applications to lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence of the enterprise technology portfolio that powers Mosaic's business and workforce. This is a senior technology leadership role responsible for a broad and consequential platform footprint spanning human capital management, financial systems, business applications, and enterprise service management. Reporting to the VP of Information Technology, the AVP leads a team of two Directors and a Senior Manager, each accountable for a distinct platform domain: Workday HCM, enterprise business applications (including Sage Financials and Basware), and ServiceNow. The AVP is the connective layer across these domains โ€” ensuring architectural coherence, governance consistency, and strategic alignment with Mosaicโ€™s rapidly evolving needs as a healthcare organization scaling through organic growth and acquisition. This role is equally strategic and operational. The AVP sets direction and drives platform roadmaps while remaining close enough to execution to resolve escalations, govern platform decisions, and ensure the team is performing at a high level. The right candidate brings deep experience leading enterprise platforms in complex, regulated healthcare environments and is ready to make an immediate impact in a high-growth organization. โ€Ž How will you make an impact & Requirements โ€Ž Key Responsibilities Platform Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the enterprise platforms roadmap across Workday, business applications, and ServiceNow, aligned to Mosaicโ€™s organizational priorities and growth trajectory Evaluate emerging technologies and platform capabilities, and make recommendations to senior IT and business leadership Ensure architectural coherence and integration across the platform portfolio, avoiding siloed decision-making within domains Balance long-term platform investment with near-term operational stability and business demand Team Leadership & Development Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of two Directors and a Senior Manager, each responsible for a distinct platform domain Establish clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching, and build a high-performing, collaborative team culture Develop internal talent and build bench strength across the platform organization Foster a team environment oriented toward service, accountability, and continuous improvement Governance & Prioritization Establish and oversee governance frameworks for platform change management, enhancement prioritization, and release management across all domains Chair or oversee cross-functional intake and prioritization processes that balance competing business demands with platform capacity Ensure transparent, documented decision-making across configuration standards, vendor management, and platform investments Partner with IT leadership to align platform investments with enterprise technology strategy and capital planning Business Partnership Serve as the senior technology partner to HR, Finance, Operations, and other business functions dependent on the platform portfolio Translate complex technical considerations into clear business terms and recommendations for senior stakeholders Ensure platform capabilities are understood and fully leveraged by business users across the organization Represent the platform organization in senior leadership forums and strategic planning discussions Acquisition & Integration Lead enterprise platform integration strategy for acquired entities, ensuring scalable and repeatable onboarding processes Oversee data migration, organizational setup, and configuration alignment across all platform domains during integration activity Ensure acquisition activity does not compromise platform stability, data integrity, or operational continuity Vendor & Partner Management Oversee external vendor and AMS partner relationships across the platform portfolio Ensure vendor accountability to contractual commitments, SLAs, and Mosaic governance standards Leverage external expertise strategically while preserving strong internal platform ownership and capability Security, Compliance & Data Integrity Ensure all platforms operate in alignment with applicable regulatory, security, and data governance requirements Partner with IT Security and Compliance to address platform-level risk and maintain audit-readiness Maintain data integrity and reporting governance standards across Workday, financial systems, and ServiceNow Qualifications Experience 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing platform teams and direct reports Demonstrated experience leading multiple enterprise platform domains simultaneously (e.g., HCM, ERP/financials, ITSM, or equivalent) Proven track record of leading platform strategy and operations in a large, complex healthcare organization Experience managing Directors or equivalent senior technical leaders Experience supporting organizational growth through mergers, acquisitions, or system integrations Preferred Experience Direct experience with Workday HCM, Sage Financials, Basware, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise platforms Experience establishing or maturing platform governance models in a regulated industry Familiarity with AMS and implementation partner management Experience operating in a multi-site, geographically distributed healthcare environment Skills & Competencies Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with VP, SVP, and C-suite stakeholders Proven ability to lead through directors โ€” setting direction, delegating effectively, and holding teams accountable without micromanaging Ability to balance strategic platform thinking with hands-on operational engagement when the situation requires it Strong judgment in navigating competing priorities across business functions, platform domains, and organizational timelines Collaborative and service-oriented leader who builds trust quickly with both technology and business partners โ€Ž Compensation: $182,545.00 to $273,819.00
