Position Summary: Provides strategic leadership and oversight for financial performance management by coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, providing guidance on financial strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives. Ensures accurate financial reporting, drives process improvements, and contributes to strategic planning and risk assessment. Key Responsibilities: Develops financial planning processes that include budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure the financial sustainability and viability of Medicaid initiatives. Oversees the financial aspects of Medicaid programs, including revenue and expense management, reimbursement rates, cost containment strategies, and financial reporting. Advises management on potential financial risks, such as changes in reimbursement policies or regulatory requirements, and develops strategies to mitigate these risks. Leads the department in assessing the financial impact of strategic initiatives, evaluating funding sources, and identifying opportunities for revenue optimization. Performs forecasting evaluations specific to Medicaid programs by analyzing various scenarios and assessing the financial implications of enrollment trends, program expansions and new contract/RFP expansions. Ensures compliance with reporting requirements, reimbursement rules, and other financial regulations. Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships across cross-functional teams to ensure program alignment, drive collaboration, and achieve targeted outcomes. Develops training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team by identifying talent needs, creating job descriptions, and interviewing and onboarding new team members. Required Qualifications: Minimum 15 years total business experience Preferred Qualifications: Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Adept at business intelligence Adept at collaboration and teamwork Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Education: Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $157,800.00 - $363,936.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
