Position Title: APD/PD Auto Adjuster - Personal Lines
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Licensing Requirement: Independent State Adjuster License (must obtain within 60 days)
Role Overview:
The APD/PD Auto Adjuster - Personal Lines will handle low to moderately complex auto property damage claims from start to finish. This includes coverage analysis, liability determination, damage assessment, claim negotiations, and resolution. The role requires strong investigative, customer service, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a high-volume, virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assess claims for coverage, liability, and damage.
• Conduct investigations with insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Set reserves, negotiate settlements, and handle supplements.
• Refer to SIU or subrogation teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state laws and client SLAs.
• Deliver proactive communication and excellent customer service.
• Document all claim activity and maintain effective claim diaries.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of personal auto claims experience (APD/PD).
• Strong ability to determine liability and coverage.
• Experience with estimating tools (e.g., CCC, Mitchell, Audatex).
• Licensed Adjuster (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a high claim volume independently.
Familiarity with virtual claims platforms and documentation tools
