Overview
The Contract Auditor, Technical Specialist I, Product Climate Verification is responsible for supporting the Critical Review and Verification of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). Key responsibilities include reviewing Life Cycle Assessment data and supporting documentation, verifying Environmental Product Declaration data, preparing verification reports, and maintaining clear communication with clients to ensure accuracy and transparency in life cycle reporting. This is a contract position. We are looking for a Technical Specialist I in the US.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Services
Complete audits and reports within the prescribed timeline
Complete audits by adhering to the agreed timeline, reporting deliverables, and professional requirements
Issue verification findings and write audit reports
Lead the documentation, communication, and closure of audit findings
Communicate in a timely and professional manner with internal staff and external clients
Contribute to the development of verification report and verification statement reports
Quality Management
Maintain thorough and current working knowledge of program standards and protocols
Recommend and implement program changes as needed to maintain SCS� compliance with ISO quality standards and/or scheme requirements
Participate in the internal and external audit process as needed
Support the development of quality templates
Assist in updating product literature and documentation including manuals
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable protocols and standards
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and
2+ years of professional experience in a related field or
Master's Degree in a relevant field and
1+ years of professional experience in a related field
Exceptional quantitative and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex data sets
Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access
Initiative and ability to work independently; responsive and adaptive to team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auditing
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience using data management systems
Life Cycle Assessment Certified Practitioner (LCACP)
Certified LCA Reviewer (CLAR)
Working Remotely
