Audiologist in Chesapeake, VA

A K-12 school district in the Virginia Beach area is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join their team on a contract basis from ASAP through June 16, 2026. This itinerant position offers the unique opportunity to develop and lead the district’s audiology program, which services students across multiple schools.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct hearing exams and audiological assessments at various school locations within the district
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student hearing needs
• Develop and implement audiology services and protocols tailored to the K-12 student population
• Manage caseload and maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment
• Travel regularly to assigned schools to deliver comprehensive audiology services

Qualifications:
• PhD in Audiology required
• Active Audiologist licensure in Virginia
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage itinerant caseloads
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Location and Schedule:
• Position based within the Virginia Beach area with travel to multiple school sites
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract term: ASAP start through 6/16/2026
