Attorney Recruiting Assistant
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is one of the world’s leading global law firms, seeking to hire an Attorney Recruiting Assistant. This role will provide administrative support to the attorney recruiting function, assisting with various recruiting activities including the summer associate program, law school outreach, and lateral associate recruiting.ResponsibilitiesMaintain applicant-tracking system for lateral candidatesReview candidate materials, schedule lateral interviews, and collect interviewer evaluationsCoordinate lateral new hire onboarding and orientationAssist with coordination of the summer associate programCoordinate logistics for social events, including tracking RSVP attendance, confirming venues, and day of event coordinationAssist with work assignment process, collecting evaluation forms and other tasks as neededHelp assemble mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluation packets for Recruiting CommitteeAttend summer associate events as appropriateRespond to general questions from summer associates and attorneysAssist with the coordination of law school recruiting eventsSchedule callback interviews and assist with super day logisticsCompile weekly Recruiting Committee materials, including candidate interview evaluationsSend correspondence to applicants with status updateAssist with updating and maintaining various recruiting materials/formsProcess all recruiting expensesBook conference roomsData entry in ATS and internal databasesActive participation in attorney recruiting office eventsSkillsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of one year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient technical skills, including MS Word, Powerpoint, and ExcelViRecruit and Symplicity experience is a plusMust be flexible in working overtime during the summer and fall seasonIndependent, self-starting, and self-motivatedSuperior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a mustExceptional organization skillsProven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentOutstanding judgment and a strong service orientationAbility to manage confidential information with discretionBenefits401(k) eligibilityVarious paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leaveCompany OverviewFrom our offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, we work with clients ranging from established, global Fortune 100 companies to enterprising startups.
