Aston Carter Remote Cost Accounting Consultant in Kansas City, Missouri

Aston Carter has partnered up with a large manufacturing company in the Kansas City area that is looking for a Cost Accounting Consultant to join their team! Our client is currently going through a large ERP implementation and acquisition integration project. This role will support the cost accounting team with projects related to accounting and the new ERP implementation. An MBA or CPA and 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience is required for this role. This person can work 100% remote within the United States. Job Description: Execute the setup, configuration, and testing of accounting rules. Ensure setup is consistent and in line with GAAP and company requirements Execute the setup and configuration of Legal Entity Rules Develop approach to system issues or new system process development which do not result in accounting errors, ensure controls requirements are met and provide accurate GAAP accounting application. Configure and test in the ERP system. Maintain auditable documentation around accounting rule maintenance Assist Controllers with resolving issues related to accounting rule execution Execute miscellaneous system implementation projects assigned related to all systems utilized by accounting Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of CPA or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience required Experience assisting with an ERP implementation, integration, or process improvement required Strong knowledge of GAAP Strong time management skills About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
