Associate, New Verticals - Retail Strategy & Operations

The Retail Strategy & Operations Associate will support strategic initiatives to expand retail offerings, manage the merchandising lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer shopping experience. Responsibilities Strategize. From first principles, by mapping selection whitespace by retailer type, geo, and category to unlock product availability for our customers Operate. Stand up 0→1 pilots, build dashboards, manage week-over-week KPIs and turn wins into scalable processes Analyze. Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize the next bets Build. Translate sales-cycles and GTM needs into requirements and co-lead product feature development Lead, collaborate and Influence. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to unlock partnerships, growth and quality to scale retail presence across the country Skills 1-3+ years of experience in similar cultures that are highly analytical and cross-functional (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience) Completed Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, etc Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities You are an owner. You're always looking for opportunities to better your work and own the outcome and scale learnings through playbooks and SOPs You're entrepreneurial. You have a bias for action and are able to build things from the ground up You're analytical. You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and building models in excel You're adaptable. You are constantly chasing new tools and ways to become more efficient and know where, when and how to use AI You're equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team You're unafraid of ambiguity.
