Associate Music Producer

The Associate Music Producer will support music-related productions, coordinate project phases, and facilitate communication between the agency and music suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule and musically support specific project activities toward defined objectives and adhere to defined production requirementsFacilitate communication between the agency and our music suppliersMaintain project processes, allowing for increased efficiency and usability of resourcesResponsible for leading defined phases of music projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and at the highest level of qualityDevelop integrated music production schedules from conception to completionSkillsBachelor's Degree in music, film, photography, theatre, marketing or relevant field, or equivalent work experience1–2 years of experience/internships in production, advertising and/or the music industryDemonstrated ability to manage and lead across multi-office internal agency environmentExcellent communication abilities, both written and verbalExcellent oral, written and presentation communication skillsMust be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsAble to apply critical, strategic and musical thinkingStress-tolerant, quick-thinking, flexible and accurateAble to quickly understand new technology conceptsStrong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team playerA skilled, creative, confident presenter and negotiatorCompany OverviewVML is a leading creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce, to create connected brands that drive growth.
