About the Role: The Associate Manager, Installations at Motive plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the successful deployment and support of our innovative IoT and AI-powered technologies. This position calls for a dynamic individual capable of overseeing a field operations team of Installation Specialists, ensuring high-quality installations, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. By combining technical expertise, strategic project management, and exceptional leadership skills, the Associate Manager, Installations will drive Motive's mission to enhance safety, efficiency, and intelligence across various industries. Primary Responsibilities: - Team Leadership and Support: Provide continued support and guidance to a team of Installation Specialists, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. - Project Oversight: Directly oversee and occasionally participate in customer trials/pilots, RMAs, and strategic installation projects to ensure they meet Motive's standards and customer expectations. - Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site quality checks of installations, including those performed by third-party installers, to maintain high standards of quality. - Documentation and Guides: Oversee the development of custom installation guides for special configurations, addressing unique customer requests, and enhancing the installation process. - Escalation Handling: Manage the review and resolution of escalated technical issues, ensuring a positive outcome for all stakeholders. - Ad Hoc Initiatives: Engage in various projects, ranging from product testing to internal process improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For: - A passion for technology and its application in solving real-world challenges. - Proven leadership experience in supervising installation teams, with a strong background in IoT devices. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep teams motivated. - Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. - Flexibility to travel moderately and adapt to varying project demands and schedules. - A commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, with a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is preferred. - At least five years experience successfully managing a technical team. - Extensive experience in technical equipment installation, service, and repair, particularly in automotive or related industries. - Strong technical background, with the ability to independently manage complex installations and troubleshoot diverse equipment. - MECP Certification strongly preferred. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Pay Transparency Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range.
