Position Overview

As an Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in leading the execution of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. This is a full-time remote position that offers the flexibility of working from home while still being deeply connected to a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, mentoring your team, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services, you will be entrusted with diverse responsibilities that span clinical expertise, leadership, and operational excellence:


Clinical Procedure Implementation: Execute clinical policies and procedures in strict accordance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations as appropriate
Subject Matter Expert & Coach: Act as a subject matter expert and coach to your team regarding practice standards, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking
Best Practice Development: Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the population's needs across the continuum of care
Cross-Functional Collaboration: May serve as a contact with other key business areas and collaborate effectively across departments
Training Content Development: May develop/aid in the development and review of new training content
Instructional Course Delivery: May collaborate/deliver inter and intra-departmental instructional courses to enhance team capabilities
Confidentiality & Compliance: Safeguard the confidentiality of population information and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality
Care Management Oversight: Manage resources responsible for identification of members, development and execution of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting of care
Data Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focus on interventions to improve outcomes
Performance Management: Create, initiate, evaluate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations
Systems Capability: Ensure the team's understanding and utilization of information system capability and functionality
Recruitment & Hiring: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements regarding education, experience, technical, and performance skills
Team Development: Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams
Collaborative Environment: Establish an environment and work style that promotes teamwork, cross-product integration, and continuum of care feeling that results in strong performance
Change Leadership: Consistently demonstrate the ability to act as a model change agent and lead change efforts
Positive Workplace Culture: Establish a positive work environment by recognizing team contributions, soliciting input, and offering personal assistance when required
Policy Compliance: Responsible for maintaining compliance with policies and procedures and implementing them at the employee level
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with Providers, Members, Staff, and other Leaders (e.g., may provide support to the sales staff and organization staff via on-site client visits as well as presentations)


Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in clinical subject matter
Active Licensure: Must have active and unencumbered RN or LCSW licensure in the state of residence
Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree in a social health field is preferred
Registered Nurse: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred for RN candidates

Compensation: The ordinary pay range for this role is competitive and based on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an arenaflex bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base compensation range.
