About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Care Representative to join our team in the Equipment Finance department as part of Commercial Banking Operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries and issues from customers on a variety of complex financial products, services, and/or select customer segments through multiple channels. Your primary objective will be to provide a best-in-class customer experience while adhering to work guidelines, policies, and regulations. Key Responsibilities Support financial products and services by answering inquiries, resolving problems, and providing timely solutions to customer issues Identify opportunities to improve the customer service experience and offer ideas to resolve internal and external customer issues, ensuring first-call resolution whenever possible Perform moderately complex customer support tasks, including navigating multiple computer systems, applications, and utilizing search tools to find information Receive direction from the customer service supervisor and escalate non-routine questions or issues to ensure prompt resolution Interact with the customer service team on complex customer issues, providing guidance and support to less experienced individuals as needed Provide training on policies and procedures to internal and external customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of our products and services Manage risk by following all policies and procedures, staying abreast of changes, and making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of customer service, financial services, or contact center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education A strong customer service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills, with the ability to quickly learn business operations and processes Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Financial services experience and/or contact center experience, with a strong understanding of financial products and services Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information, including assisting customers with program usage Experience working in a hybrid schedule environment, with the ability to work additional hours as needed Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
