As an Associate Estimator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our project teams by preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing builder specifications, and ensuring each proposal reflects the exceptional quality that defines Artisan Design Group. You’ll work alongside experienced estimators, learning the ins and outs of materials takeoffs, pricing, and project coordination in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do • Review residential and commercial blueprints to calculate flooring quantities and material needs. • Prepare and update cost estimates and purchase orders in line with project specifications. • Analyze builder selections and pricing for accuracy before release to production. • Partner with builders, sales teams, and internal departments to clarify scope or resolve discrepancies. • Maintain organized digital files and documentation to support project tracking and reporting. • Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and data accuracy opportunities. Requirements What You’ll Bring • Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework or certification in Construction Management, Drafting, or related field preferred. • Experience: Previous exposure to construction estimating, blueprint reading, or materials takeoffs helpful — training will be provided. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic CAD tools preferred. • Attributes: Analytical thinker, detail-driven, highly organized, and motivated to learn. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across teams. Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Office-based role requiring extended periods at a computer. • Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs, bending, or reaching may be required. • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
