Associate Director, Marketing
CCS Fundraising is an international strategic fundraising firm that partners with nonprofits for transformational change. The Associate Director, Marketing supports the execution of the regional marketing plan through coordination, content creation, and project management across key functions, ensuring that all marketing activities align with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesManage logistics for marketing activities and events, including conference registrations, collateral, schedules, exhibitor coordination, and speaking proposalsTrack and report on marketing activities, budgets, and ROI through HubSpot in partnership with the Marketing LeadManage contact lists, imports, and data accuracy in HubSpot; manage email distribution and reportingPrepare and distribute pre- and post-event communications and social content in partnership with Corporate MarketingCoordinate conference and event logistics (booths, sponsorships, travel, materials, speaking submissions)Draft speaking proposals, manage deadlines, and support content preparation for presentersLiaise with nonprofit associations and sector partners for sponsorship and partnership opportunitiesManage sponsorship logistics, including scheduling calls, tracking payments, and maintaining calendarsDraft and distribute regional publications, email campaigns, and social media contentIn collaboration with Department Lead, develop thought leadership materials, philanthropic landscapes, and market-specific resourcesCollaborate with Business Development on tailored content for outreach and follow-upProvide internal communication needs, including updates to the marketing resource library and reportsPartner with Business Development to coordinate lead follow-up, event outreach, and conference attendee engagementSupport Business Development-led strategic outreach campaigns with marketing materials and distribution supportWork closely with Corporate Marketing and Field Marketers to ensure alignment with firmwide standards and campaignsManage and update all relevant trackers and shared files to ensure real-time visibility of marketing activityTrack engagement metrics for events, sponsorships, and outreach, reporting results to Marketing LeadIdentify opportunities for process improvements, creative innovation, and efficiency within marketing workflowsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent along with one to two years of relevant experience preferred (Nonprofits, Fundraising, Communications, Marketing)Exceptional communication, writing, and proofreading skillsCreative presentation design experienceAdvanced skills researching nonprofit organizations, potential client leads, and key contactsStrong time management skillsAbility to think strategically and see the big picture while also executing tasks in a detail-oriented mannerAdvanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPointDemonstrated resourcefulness and self-directed behaviorOutstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the team, clients, and staff across the firmDemonstrated commitment or interest in the nonprofit sector through professional, volunteer, or personal experiencePrior experience with client relationship management software a plusProfessional demeanorAbility to travel for brief periods of time may be requiredBenefitsCompetitive benefitsDynamic training programResourcesCareer advancementMentoringNetworking opportunitiesCompany OverviewCCS Fundraising provides interim development management and assessments services.
