Associate Digital Developer

The Associate Digital Developer will be responsible for transforming 3D footwear designs into prototypes, operating 3D printing equipment, and collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure high-quality outputs.ResponsibilitiesSet up, calibrate, and operate 3D printers to achieve optimal print quality and consistencyConvert and prepare CAD files for 3D printing, including slicing, support generation, and print parameter optimizationInspect and measure printed components for accuracy and surface quality; adjust printer settings or processes as neededSelect, load, and manage printing materials and inventory; coordinate orders to ensure uninterrupted productionConduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure printer reliability and minimize downtimeClean, sand, assemble, or otherwise finish printed parts to meet design and aesthetic requirementsConstruct and assemble prototypes, ensuring precise alignment, functionality, and design integrityMaintain organized records of print jobs, materials used, and process settings for future reference and process improvementPartner with engineers, designers, and R&D teams to prototype new products and refine designsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance print speed, consistency, and qualitySkillsProficiency with slicing software (e.g., Cura, Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, Prusa Slicer)Experience with CAD or 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender)Ability to work safely around machinery and toolsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentEnthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and process improvementBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience preferred1β2+ years of experience with FDM 3D printing (personal or professional)BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageLife and AD&DShort and long-term disability coveragePaid time offEmployee assistanceParticipation in a 401k program that includes company matchMany other additional voluntary benefitsCompany OverviewAt Crocs, Inc., we believe lifeβs too short for uncomfortable shoes.
