Lead Software Engineer - iOS Mobile App
About the position We are seeking a Mobile Developer with a strong background in mobile app development, particularly in iOS technologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, and will be responsible for designing and building moderately complex applications. The role requires experience in writing code for online applications, microservices, or mobile applications, as well as experience in deployment automation. The candidate should also have a proven track record of engaging with executive-level stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams. This position may require travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. Responsibilities • Design and build moderately complex mobile applications. • Write code for online applications, microservices, or mobile applications. • Develop deployment automation solutions. • Create automated test scripts for applications. • Engage with executive-level stakeholders to discuss project progress and challenges. • Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance to team members. Requirements • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR High School/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience writing code for moderate to complex online applications, microservices, or mobile applications. • Experience with programming languages for online applications, microservices, or mobile applications. • Experience designing/building moderately complex applications. • Experience writing automated test scripts. • Experience creating coding/scripting solutions to fix complex problems/issues. • At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership. • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar related fields. • 6+ years of Mobile App development experience in Swift, SwiftUI, Objective C (iOS). • Experience in Test Driven Development and Testing Automation using cloud-based products like AppCenter, ADO. • Experience in React Native Programming. • Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing & operations. • Accessibility Experience. • Experience in building Design patterns, modularized apps. • Excellent Debugging, Optimization and Performance Skills.
