We are searching for a meticulous Data Entry Associate to become a vital member of our administrative team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, ensuring a high standard of accuracy in the management and entry of patient data. This role is pivotal in sustaining the seamless functionality of our office, as the Data Entry Associate will be key in maintaining patient records and billing information with precision.

Key Responsibilities
? Accurately input and manage patient information, including personal details, medical history, and insurance data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
? Maintain and update patient records, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
? Support billing operations by entering and verifying billing codes and patient insurance information to facilitate correct billing and reimbursement.
? Process documents by scanning, indexing, and filing medical records, correspondence, and other relevant documents into appropriate electronic or physical storage.
? Conduct quality control by reviewing data for errors and discrepancies, rectifying issues as necessary to uphold the integrity of patient records.
? Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to promote timely information exchange and enhance overall office efficiency.
? Assist in generating routine reports concerning patient data, billing, and other operational requirements.
? Ensure adherence to organizational standards and confidentiality requirements in all data management practices.

Required Skills
? Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiar with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
? Excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective task prioritization.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or relevant certification in office administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred.
? Prior experience in data entry or administrative support, ideally within a healthcare context.
? Familiarity with healthcare terminology and billing procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
