About the Role: Driving Success in Wholesale Club Operations The Assistant Overnight Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the club and directing the work of the overnight team in the absence of the Night Manager. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to balance your time between our remote office and home, ensuring a great work-life balance. As an Assistant Overnight Manager, you'll be responsible for coaching, teaching, and developing all overnight team members to ensure excellent member service through effective merchandising. Key Responsibilities: Leadership, Team Development, and Member Satisfaction Leadership: Exhibit strategic thinking and sound decision-making thorough knowledge and utilization of business data. Lead through change and model leadership competencies to build credibility and act as a champion for business growth. Team Development: Teach, coach, and lead through the club level training process. Support team member engagement within all areas of responsibility to enable the application of policies, procedures, and compliance. Member Satisfaction: Guarantee service excellence through all points of contact. Set service standard expectations for all team members and provide team support and empowerment to resolve every member concern. Club Standards: Lead teams to deliver GOLD club standards daily, ensuring a grand opening look, accurate signage, clean and organized club, and proper merchandising. Business Acumen: Acquire a deep knowledge of key metrics and reporting for total club and department performance. Drive performance and profitability by using reporting to identify trends and areas of opportunity. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Supervise the club and overnight team members in the absence of the Night Manager. Model and provide excellent Member service, while coaching, teaching, and developing overnight team members to do the same. Train, coach, motivate, recognize, and provide input on evaluation of overnight Team Members on tasks, responsibilities, and expectations defined by position relative to effective and productive merchandising. Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and has appropriate signage. Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspect forklifts prior to use. Maintain all club policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and positive environment and experience for team members and members. Qualifications: What We're Looking For To succeed as an Assistant Overnight Manager, you'll need: A valid Driver's License. Forklift operator certification (we'll provide training and certification). At least 18 years of age. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results. Prior forklift operating and merchandising experience. High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery, and/or management experience (preferred).
